Born in 1931, she was the daughter of Anthony Willemsen and Johanna Willemsen Sterkx. The family resided in Indonesia, a true paradise as Dutch Indonesians will remember. Lily met her husband Bert in Rotterdam, and they married in 1965. Their son Matthais was born in 1967 and by then Lily decided to become a skincare specialist. She graduated from the well-known Hermans Academy.
