Brinston C. D'Souza, age 59, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home in Sharon, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Mangalore, India on July 24, 1962, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Josephine (Sequeira) D'Souza. He was raised in Mangalore, where he received his formal education, graduating from Saint Aloysius College first with his bachelor's degree and later with his master's degree in 1982. Following his graduation, Brinston moved to Bombay, India, taking a position with Diner's International, while pursuing his certificate in computer technology at night. Brinston began his career in computer technology with the Mukund Company in Bombay, learning the intricacies of software engineering.
Brinston married his beloved wife, Irene I. Serrao, on January 3, 1994, in his hometown of Mangalore. Together, he and Irene immigrated to the United States of America, landing in Boston, Massachusetts, where Brinston took a position with Boston System Resources (BSR), working in the computer programming department. After a four month stay for work in Jersey City, New Jersey, the couple returned to the Boston area, making their home in the city for three years and in Randolph for an additional three years. In 2000, Brinston moved his family to Canada for a year, later returning to the US, making his home in Canton, Massachusetts for a year before ultimately settling in Sharon in 2002. Brinston remained with BSR through their merger with Teri Resources and, later, their second merger with The First Marblehead Corporation. After many years with his company, Brinston decided to begin his IT consulting career with Millennium Consulting in Foxboro, taking a position in 2009. He spent countless hours helping his clients at various companies throughout the United States.
Throughout his life, Brinston was a devoted Catholic; his faith was very important to him. While he put down roots in Sharon, Brinston never lost his love for India. Brinston loved visiting his family in Mangalore. He enjoyed exploring places near and far, whether by plane, train, or car.
